Our Youth Ambassador Wesley Butler is not only working with his peers in the community to help educate them about sexual health, he’s also the starting point guard on the Reading High School basketball team.
Wesley was recently named “Player of The Year” in the Berks Conference for his team-leading average of 16.5 points a game and racking up 49 3-pointers, third highest in the league. He is the only starter from last year’s Red Knight State Championship team.
“I love to play basketball and hangout with my family,” Wesley says. “Berks Teens Matter to me because anything that can help our community matters to me.”
It takes hard work and dedication to be a Youth Ambassadors and commit to making a difference. We are proud of each one of our YAs and all the things they do in our community.
We love seeing our YAs accomplish amazing things!
